Coaching Series: The Final Wrap Up
Over the course of the last two weeks, we’ve talked with four different business coaches.
⢠The first coach in our series was Ashley, owner of Makers Megaphone Coaching. Ashley is a small business expert who has a passion for helping creative entrepreneurs build their businesses. She believes the world needs creators now more than ever, and we agree! As a creator and business owner, Ashley knows the ins and outs of producing not only a top-notch business, but also a steady revenue stream for you and your family.
⢠The second coach in our series was Lori, owner of GoTime Coaching. Lori is a results-oriented coach whose passion in life is to help others achieve more. Having spent over 25 years in banking, and 7 years in manufacturing operations management, Lori is experienced with diverse types of businesses and people and is ready to work for you as an accountability coach.
⢠The third coach in our series was Melissa, owner of Melissa Pothier Fitness. Melissa is a fitness and nutrition and life coach with her own subscription box! As a mother, Melissa began her fitness journey after giving birth to her daughter. She wanted to get into postpartum-fitness and needed a simple and efficient way to train at home. Inspired by her physical transformation, she decided to transform her professional and personal life as well!
⢠The fourth coach in our series was Derian, owner of Subscription Box Mentor. Derian started a subscription box company from scratch out of his living room. Three years later, he had grown his subscription box into a multi-million-dollar company. Now, he shares his knowledge with subscription box owners all over the country.
If you haven’t already, you need to check out each of their interviews. Although each coach has a unique perspective from a different industry, they have a few pieces of advice that overlap
1. You can do anything, but not everything.
Once you own your business, youâre the boss! You can choose to run your business however you want! But, if you want to be successful, you need to learn to delegate. Know your strengths and weaknesses and donât be afraid to ask for help or advice when needed!
2. Read a book, or two (or six) a month.
The best leaders and business owners all have one thing in common: a book on their nightstand. While some of our coaches like to read multiple books at once, you donât have to do that. You do need to pick up a book every now and then though. Not a reader? Thatâs okay! Try listening to some podcasts or audiobooks to stay up-to-date on your industryâs latest trends. Donât rely on Facebook for your news.
3. Mindset is everything.
You canât change yourself or your business unless you want to. Once you decide your business is worth it, coaching can help you grow in ways you could have never imagined
Many people believe that coaches are only good for sports. Who says you canât you apply coaching to your business?
