Agency Finds a Perfect Fit in BoxUp

Eric Schmaltz of OmniSource Marketing refers to BoxUp as their “secret weapon.”The promotional marketing agency partners with apparel and merchandise manufacturers to increase recognition for some of the most dynamic brands in the country. Always on the lookout for a great new idea, OmniSource found BoxUp while searching for custom packaging solutions.

identified several clients, including themselves, for whom they could solve a marketing challenge with a custom BoxUp box.

One of the first opportunities came in the form of a promotional event hosted by OmniSource. Their goal was to revamp the event and increase attendance. Their team created an invite that would easily get noticed: a Yeti-inspired tumbler and event tickets inside a custom promotional box. This elevated approach to marketing their event resulted in greater engagement and feedback, along with their best attendance ever.

Now that BoxUp had passed the initial test, OmniSource saw a second opportunity to use their technology for an airline client with a uniform program. They aimed to surprise and delight the airlineā€™s hardworking pilots with a unique gift.

To that end, special coats recognizing the pilotsā€™ time-of-service were delivered in custom designed boxes. The coats and boxes were sent directly to each pilot’s home to create a memorable, high-touch moment. Furthermore, using inside print for content and specialty tape allowed OmniSource to ā€œkitā€ and distribute the jackets while eliminating fulfillment touchpoints, ultimately saving money. Thatā€™s what we call a win-win situation.
